Cheriyo Darling (Sinhala: චෙරියෝ ඩාලිං) is a 1996 Sri Lankan Sinhala medical mystery romantic comedy film directed by Roy de Silva and co-produced by director himself with his wife Sumana Amarasinghe for RS Films. [1] It is the third film of Cheriyo film series, which is sequel to Cheriyo Captain. [2]
After several comedy incidents, the three sons leave the house to plow the fields at the father's request. The trio moved into the paddy field and brought a political discourse to the paddy fields. They reached an election rally conducted by minister Pushpakumara (Ananda), interrupting the conversation of the three.
Don Sirisena (born 1934 – died 1986 as දොන් සිරිසේන) [Sinhala]), was an actor in Sri Lankan cinema and theater. [2] One of the most popular comedy artists ever in Sri Lankan film history, Sirisena had a career spanned about three decades acted more than 150 films.
