The Democratic Party (Serbian: Демократска странка, romanized: Demokratska stranka; listen ⓘ, abbr. DS) is a social democratic political party in Serbia. Srđan Milivojević has led the party as its president since 2024. The party is colloquially known as the žuti (yellows) because of one of its main colours.
The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) was founded in 1992 by a breakaway nationalist faction of the Democratic Party (DS), which advocated involvement in the Democratic Movement of Serbia (DEPOS).
