The one I"m trying to fix needs a $85 used part that it looks like I"m going to have to buy. (Mowers are both #5 but different years/parts). Guess I just told you who isn"t that smart.

On the WeekendFreedomMachine site, do a search for 111. The 108, 111, 112L, and 116 tractors are kind of orphans in between the older 60-70-100 series and the STX series. Like other posters have said, you need a better JD dealer. Parts are out there. Take the link to "Keeping it Green" from the WeekendFreedomMachines website for parts lookup.
As you can see by my handle my usual color is red but I like them all and have some of each. I am in desperate need of a part no longer available. Is there a Guy(s) that have JIC parts for sale. I need an arm for a WFE for a VAC. No one is willing to trash a front end by selling just an arm...

While others had a square type pedestal mounted fuel tank behind the engine. Part Numbers.. Ignition Coil = Lawnboy 100-2949. Primer = Lawn Boy 610482. Fuel Shut off Valve = Lawn Boy 677052 (for the pedestal mounted tank). The engine types were F100, F140, F140E and the F200.
