Svetlana Iosifovna Alliluyeva [a] (née Stalina; [b] 28 February 1926 – 22 November 2011), later known as Lana Peters, was the youngest child and only daughter of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin and his second wife Nadezhda Alliluyeva.
She was arrested for treason in December 1948, consequently being forced into an unwanted divorce from Μolotov. [7] She was convicted and sentenced to five years in a labor camp . [ 8 ] After the death of Stalin in March 1953, she was released from captivity by Lavrentiy Beria and reunited with her husband.
