Fexofenadine, sold under the brand name Allegra among others, [10] is an antihistamine pharmaceutical drug used in the treatment of allergy symptoms, such as hay fever and urticaria. [ 11 ] Therapeutically, fexofenadine is a selective peripheral H 1 blocker .
It contains fexofenadine, as the hydrochloride, an antihistamine; and pseudoephedrine, as the hydrochloride, a nasal decongestant. [ 2 ] In 2021, it was the 279th most commonly prescribed medication in the United States, with more than 800,000 prescriptions.
Quifenadine (Russian: хифенадин, trade name: Phencarol, Фенкарол) is a 2nd generation antihistamine drug, marketed mainly in post-Soviet countries. [2] [3] Chemically, it is a quinuclidine derivative.
A Clarinase Repetab tablet contains 5 mg loratadine in the tablet coating and 120 mg pseudoephedrine sulfate equally distributed between the tablet coating and the barrier-coated core. The two active components in the coating are quickly liberated; release of pseudoephedrine in the core is delayed for several hours.

The usual dosage of etifoxine (as the hydrochloride salt) is 150 to 200 mg per day in divided doses of 50 to 100 mg two to three times per day (e.g., 50 mg–50 mg–100 mg). [ 2 ] [ 7 ] [ 6 ] [ 18 ] [ 1 ] [ 19 ] [ 20 ] It is taken for a few days to a few weeks, but no longer than 12 weeks.
