Team Rocket (Japanese: ロケット団, Hepburn: Roketto-dan, Japanese: [ɾo̞ke̞t̚to̞ dã̠ɴ]) is a fictional crime syndicate in the Pokémon franchise. Team Rocket is a primary antagonist in the original Pokémon video games Red, Green, and Blue, as well as in the long-running Pokémon anime TV-series.
"Many elements were removed from the series to prevent any possible recreation of the incident, and the station only reran the first 37 episodes of Pokémon until it returned on April 16, 1998, when it aired "Pikachu's Goodbye", which was the only episode promoted during those months."
A Pokémon magician named Lily attempts to create a magic spell, but as well as needing Pikachu, is missing one ingredient; a tear from an Aipom. Team Rocket steals Lily's spell book and try to get Aipom to shed a tear without force. After beating Team Rocket, however, the spell fails and Ash gets turned into a Pikachu.
Team Rocket captures Pikachu, and promptly locks it away in an unbreakable cage while Wobbuffet holds onto the key. However, it gets left behind and soon Wobbuffet goes on an adventure of his own, as Ash and his friends and Team Rocket try to find him. Ash also helps Officer Jenny capture a thief along the way.
Brock decides to stay on the island with Professor Ivy so that he can learn about Pokémon. Ash and Misty leave without Brock and board a dirigible airship but encounter Team Rocket. In the end, Jigglypuff suddenly appears and sings. Team Rocket and Jigglypuff exit the blimp while the blimp crash lands on Tangelo Island.
Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl: Sinnoh League Victors (advertised as Pokémon: DP Sinnoh League Victors), is the thirteenth season of the Pokémon animated series and the fourth and final season of Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl, known in Japan as Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl (ポケットモンスター ダイヤモンド&パール, Poketto Monsutā Daiyamondo & Pāru).
