Furthermore, some fans argue that Time-Stop had been foreshadowed throughout part 3, especially in situations like the Darby fight, where he demonstrates Star Platinum's insane speed. Some theorize that Darby knew The World's ability, and so he was so panicked by this demonstration, he thought Star Platinum is the same.
In one of the first episodes of Stardust Crusaders, Jotaro takes a revolver pistol to his head about 4.5 inches away and catches it about 1.5 inches away from his head. The initial velocity a bullet would have after being fired from a revolver is 2600 feet/s or 792.48 meters/s and the average acceleration from a pistol is about 440,000 m/s^2 ...
If Star Platinum moves as fast as the speed of light, how could Jotaro be hit by N'Doul' stand Geb? 4 In chapter 101 of Stone Ocean, How can Stone Free decode binary code?
Towards the end of episode 48 of Star Crusaders, Dio kicks at Jotaro who uses Star Platinum to punch The World's shin. Star Platinum's fist ends up cracking, but then The World's entire body ends up cracking, killing DIO in the process.
From what I understand, Jotaro is able to move for 2 seconds in Dio's stopped time because Star Platinum is also able to stop it and they end in the same "stopped time dimension" together. So, I think Jotaro shouldn't be able to stop time after facing Dio's as he has already used his 2 seconds to stop the road roller between 7 and 9 seconds.
Star Platinum is fast, but I'm struggling to remember when exactly it would have moved at or near a literal light speed. (Excluding times it moved in stopped time.) The fan wiki does refrence this, but cites Part 6 for this, which is quit a bit after Part 3. –
The instance where The World and Star Platinum attack each other and both Stand users start to "fly", it is like lots of mini Stand leaps as they propel off each other. The 2 Stands punch each other so fast they begin to rise, because the forces acting on the other are equivalent to Stand leaps.
Basically Golden Experience Requiem (GER) is the only stand that is seen to talk by itself without the user talking through their stand(and no Star Platinum doesn't count because Jotaro uses it to talk to the user of Dark Blue Moon and the user of Strength and it wasn't Star Platinum being sentient).
they swap colors, making Kakyoin and Hierophant purple and Jotaro and Star platinum green. It would almost be like Jotaro's the "loser" and the "evil one" until it turns around, making Kakyoin the "loser" and the "evil one".
The stat at the bottom is the Stands ability. Abilities are something like; Magician Red's fire, Hierophant Greens possession, and (spoiler alert!) Star Platinum's time stop. Hermit Purple's stat in that category is high because of its ability to reveal other stand users and make superhuman observations. Attacking a Stand just hurts the user.
