On Windows 11 If you install BatteryBar in floating mode you can place Batterybar any where you want. And it does work. I have already tested this. Remove and then reinstall. on the install options select floating toolbar. Then it will work for you.
After running the setup file that would be downloaded, when you come to installation, tick the "Battery Bar (Floating)" option when you're asked what files you'd like to download. Then just continue the normal download procedure and you're done. You might need to open the application file for the first time to have it work automatically afterwards.
Since BatteryBar toolbar is not appearing in the taskbar in Windows 11, decided to just reinstall it to be a floating toolbar. Hope this will be fixed soon in the final version of Windows 11. Share
Ignore the battery bar estimates, Windows is far better. There is also an option to deactivate statistics in time guesstimation, you can try that. Has anyone noticed that the time remaining from BatteryBar Pro is WAYYYY off from the Windows battery life estimate? Mind you I have had the laptop….

Windows time-averages over ~a minute. Battery Bar time-averages over several hours. Battery Bar shows a much lower time, because you usually get less time than you'd be getting if you keep doing what you're doing right now for the next six hours. Neither is terribly useful. I use a widget that just shows battery percentage and power usage in mW.
BatteryBar doesn't install gracefully on Win 11 unless you check BOTH of the "Floating" options while installing. Uninstall BatteryBar and reinstall it and make sure you check both those options. Reply reply
It's not a native feature because "time remaining" is incredibly difficult to calculate and can change wildly depending on how you use your computer. I think they'd rather not try than show the user a metric that is most likely wrong. Is there any alternative on windows 11 for BatteryBar Pro to see battery remaining time?
Billyaustin2. SP4. Do you know of alternatives to Batterybar Pro? pro. I have been trying Batterybar Pro for a couple of weeks and like that I can pin it to the taskbar in tablet mode. I have tried similar apps from Windows Store but they could not be pinned to taskbar in tablet mode. Batterybar is nice but scaling is not optimized for Windows ...
BatteryBar tracks the time it takes to discharge 1%, which HP does report. If you have the Pro version you can see the discharge graph and how long the battery lasts at each percentage remaining. The average is also adjusted based on actual time vs estimated time so if you're using more batter than normal, it'll adjust the time remaining for you.
