Middle Georgia Regional Airport (IATA: MCN, ICAO: KMCN, FAA LID: MCN) is a city-owned, public-use airport located nine nautical miles (10 mi, 17 km) south of the central business district of Macon, a city in Bibb County, Georgia, United States. [1] It is mostly used for general aviation, but is also served by one commercial airline.
Classes commenced at the campus in April 1996. The campus, which became Georgia Aviation Technical College in July 2001, was further expanded in March 2000 and November 2004. [5] Middle Georgia College absorbed Georgia Aviation Technical College in 2007 and was later brought under the control of Middle Georgia State University in January 2013. [6]
