Students in this course will be introduced to the scientific study of psychology, its research methods, and an overview of its various subfields. As a part of this class, students will be required to complete a group assignment in which they edit/create a Wikipedia page on an underdeveloped area of psychology.

A merger of the university in 1973 with the Baltimore College of Commerce provided further business focus, and in 1982, the school received three large financial gifts from the Merrick Foundation.
