Balboa Park is a public park in the Mission Terrace neighborhood of San Francisco, California. It was originally dedicated in 1909 when the park included the land now used by City College of San Francisco Ocean Campus west of I-280 Freeway .
It is bounded on the north and west by Interstate 280, to the east by Mission St. and to the south by Geneva Ave. Mission Terrace borders Glen Park and Bernal Heights to the north, Excelsior to the east, Outer Mission to the south, and Sunnyside, City College, and Ingleside to the west.
