Meadowbrook High School is a high school located in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The school is home to an International Baccalaureate Program and Meadowbrook's Academy for Developing Entrepreneurs (M.A.D.E.). The school has one of the most diverse student bodies in the state and region with students representing over 60 nations.
The service is held within a couple weeks of the graduation/commencement ceremony, perhaps on a Sunday before, the day preceding, or immediately preceding the graduation. Speakers selected tend to be community leaders, faculty members, students, or local religious leaders, and may be elected by the graduating class.
PEAP was founded in 1983. The purpose of the program is to recognize students in elementary, middle and high school for their educational achievements. Both the President's Award for Educational Excellence and the President's Award for Educational Achievement can be given at the sole discretion of the participating school's principal. [1]
