The Āryamañjuśrīmūlakalpa (The Noble Root Manual of the Rites of Mañjuśrī) is a Mahāyāna sūtra and a Mantrayāna ritual manual (kalpa) affiliated with the bodhisattva of wisdom, Mañjuśrī. In Tibetan Buddhism it is classified as a Kriyā-tantra.
The Seventeen Tantras of the Esoteric Instruction Series (Tibetan: མན་ངག་སྡེའི་རྒྱུད་བཅུ་བདུན, Wylie: man ngag sde'i rgyud bcu bdun) or the Seventeen Tantras of the Ancients (rnying-ma'i rgyud bcu-bdun) are an important collection of tantras in the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism.
The tantric rituals are called "sādhana". Some of the well known sādhana-s are: śāva sādhana (sādhanā done while visualizing sitting on a corpse). śmaśāna sādhana (sādhana done while visualizing being in a crematorium or cremation ground). pañca-muṇḍa sādhana (sādhana done while visualizing sitting on a seat of five skulls).
