When I lived in WA state, there was public access for hunting and fishing on all rivers and creeks (even if it crossed private land) within the high water mark or from dike top to dike top.

To me, that means find some pencil weeds or cattails and put your boat in there and you are good to go. Also, you need to be at least 500 feet away from a house.

    Shot my first Deer this year! Guy on another site posted he counted 104 trucks around the lake on open. Lots of shooting according to the CO but not many ducks in the bag. We managed to shoot a 4 man limit, but had to secure a spot very very early. There is way too much pressure on the lake, especially opening weekend.
