The Payne Arena is a multi-purpose complex, in Hidalgo, Texas. It was formerly known as Dodge Arena from 2003 until February 2010, State Farm Arena from 2010 to September 2018, [ 5 ] and then State Farm Hidalgo Arena for one year.

The league and team folded after the 2019 season. In 2021, the team was reactivated as a member of the Arena Football Association for the 2022 season as a traveling team.
It previously featured an arena, Cobo Arena, which hosted various concerts, sporting events, and other events. [3] In 2015, the facility completed a renovation that repurposed the Cobo Arena space, adding additional meeting halls, a glass atrium with a view of the Detroit riverfront, and the 40,000-square-foot (3,700 m 2 ) Grand Riverview Ballroom.
