Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is an Indian public sector oil and gas company, headquartered in Mumbai. It is India's second-largest government-owned downstream oil producer , whose operations are overseen by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas .

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).
With an annual crude processing capacity of 1,240,000 barrels (197,000 m 3) per stream day, RPL is the largest refinery in the world.It will have a complexity of 21.0, using the Nelson Complexity Index, ranking it one of the highest in the sector.
It is a joint venture company promoted by the Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). [3]
