The K&A Gang, or the Northeast Philly Irish Mob, is a predominantly Irish American criminal network based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The K&A Gang was started following World War II and controlled the city's Irish-American criminal underworld for much of the late 20th century.
Allegheny station (soon to be known as Kensington–Allegheny station [3]) is a rapid transit station on SEPTA Market–Frankford Line in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is located at the intersection of Kensington and Allegheny avenues (known as "K&A") and H Street in the Kensington neighborhood of North Philadelphia . [ 4 ]
Access to the station from street level is west of the five-way intersection, situated between East Tioga Street and K Street. There is also an exit-only staircase from the eastbound platform to an area south of the intersection, situated between East Tioga Street and Kensington Avenue in Harrowgate Park.
