Bayshore Christian School is a private Christian school in central Tampa, Florida, United States, providing education for children from pre-kindergarten to grade 12.The school was founded as a middle school in 1971 as a segregation academy when the court ordered racial integration of public schools required white middle school children to be bused to formerly black schools. The camps were founded in 1926 by C.L. Ford and now claim to be one of the largest Christian sports camps. In 2010, camp director Peter Newman was convicted of child sexual abuse, and in the 2020s, many civil suits were filed against the camp for underage sexual abuse.
Mountain Brook boys tennis (28) and girls tennis (33) lead the all-time state title count as individual sports. Bayside Academy volleyball holds the consecutive record for girls sports with 21 titles (2002-22). Grissom boys swimming and diving holds the consecutive record for boys sports with 13 titles (1984-96).
