Ultraman (Japanese: ウルトラマン, Hepburn: Urutoraman) [a] is a Japanese tokusatsu science fiction television series created by Eiji Tsuburaya.Produced by Tsuburaya Productions, it is a follow-up to Ultra Q, though not technically a sequel or spin-off.
It unites the Shōwa heroes Ultraman, Seven, Jack and Ace together on screen with the Heisei heroes Tiga, Dyna, Gaia and Mebius. The catchphrase for the movie is "I will protect the world." (この世界を、僕が守る, Kono sekai o, boku ga mamoru). The movie was released theatrically nationwide in Japan on September 13, 2008.
Mega Monster Battle (大怪獣バトル, Daikaijū Batoru) [1] is a multimedia project of Tsuburaya Productions' long-running Ultra Series.The story's main setting took place in the mainstream Showa Universe (Ultraman to Ultraman Mebius) where monsters on Earth went extinct after 500 years had passed.
The film itself was preceded by Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Ghost Reverse, a direct-to-video special from Ultraman Mebius which lead to the movie's plot, and followed by a sequel Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial in 2010. Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy also marks Takeshi Aono's final role prior to his retirement and his death in 2012.
Mebius engaged in a battle against the armor but found himself slowly weakened. The armored giant fired Empera's Rezolium Ray, leading Haruzaki to theorize that the monster was Alien Empera. As the giant armor was about to finish Mebius, it was stopped by a sudden wave, which was revealed to have been caused by Ultraman Hikari.
