Two men were arrested Thursday and charged with causing the deaths of two people after the boat they were operating capsized in New York City’s Hudson River in July 2022, federal prosecutors said.
The suspects—Pablo Ruvalcaba, Jaime Ramos, Gilbert Renteria, and Alex Martinez [2] —were believed to be part of the Norteños street gang, which was selling methamphetamine in Stockton. Investigators had been gathering information and intelligence on Renteria and Martinez in the years prior to the robbery.
