Golden Grove is 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northeast of Port Morant and 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) east of Bath. [6] The banana-handling port, Port Morant, is located in Bowden, Golden Grove. [ 7 ] A path starting from Golden Grove leads to the 100 foot (30 m)-tall Morant Point lighthouse cast in London, England in 1841. [ 8 ]
On the slightly steeper eastern shore are the Southampton suburb of Weston, the villages of Netley and Hamble-le-Rice, and the Royal Victoria Country Park. To the south, Southampton Water enters the Solent between Calshot Spit and Hill Head. Southampton Water is an estuary with major potential for land use conflicts.
Cockpit Country is an area in Trelawny and Saint Elizabeth, Saint James, Saint Ann, Manchester and the northern tip of Clarendon parishes, mostly within the west-central side, of Jamaica. The land is marked by lush, montane forests and steep-sided valleys and hollows, as deep as 120 metres (390 ft) in places, separated by conical hills and ridges.

Just beyond the Southampton boundary lies Netley village, famous for its well-preserved medieval Cistercian monastery, Netley Abbey. Nave of Netley Abbey Royal Victoria Country Park on the shore is centred on a chapel which is all that survives of what, when completed in 1836, was the longest building in the world.

Tilly, 1895) Barking Lodge was once a small sugar estate spanning 350 acres (1.4 km 2) and worked by 150 slaves at the time of emancipation when the property belonged to Philip Forsyth and the heirs of Robert Lindsay, having been owned in 1811 by the heirs of Ambrose S. Carter.
