Pete the Pup (original, 1924 – June 1930; second Pete, September 9, 1929 – January 28, 1946) was an American dog actor, who participated in Hal Roach's Our Gang comedies (later known as The Little Rascals) during the 1930s, otherwise known as "Pete, the dog with the ring around his eye", or simply "Petey".

The first several minutes of Dogs is Dogs were edited out of the syndicated Little Rascals television package in 1971 because of the maltreatment of children being portrayed. Likewise, the scene with Stymie and Pete discussing food and some of the ham-and-egg routine were excised for racial stereotyping.
