St. Margaret Queen of Scotland Catholic Church is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church serving eastern Livingston Parish, Louisiana.It is particularly noted for its historic parish church located at 30300 Catholic Hall Road near Albany, Louisiana.
St. Luke's was founded in 1892, in Allston, which was then a rapidly growing white-collar neighborhood. It was the only parish in the diocese founded under Bishop Phillips Brooks, the famous preacher and author of O Little Town of Bethlehem. An initial church building was built in 1895, at the corner or Brighton Avenue and St. Luke's Road.

In 1086, the Domesday Book stated Bowers Gifford had four landholders, four ploughs, and sheep. [4] A wooden Saxon church stood at that time. St Margaret's Church dates back to 1350 and was built by the Gifford family; the church is dedicated to Margaret of Antioch.
