In 2006, the gallery organized Studio in The Park, an outdoor installation in Riverside Park and logistical assistance for Illumination, on the grounds of The Rothko Chapel. Since 2009 the gallery has worked with The Downtown Alliance of Manhattan as an adjunct curator producing public art projects for construction remediation.
Don O'Neill (1924–2007) was a United States watercolor artist most noted for his depictions of historic downtown Riverside, California.An architect by trade, he began painting in the 1960s, and eventually became Riverside's premier watercolorist. [1]
Mr. Wood had come to Riverside in 1889 to design the interior of the Loring Opera House. A.C. Willard, who had designed the exterior of the opera house, was also architect for Mr. Wood's Riverside residence. Mr. Wood stayed in his new house only infrequently and sold it in 1893. Riverside Art Museum is an art museum in the historic Mission Inn District of Riverside, California. The museum is a non-profit organization which focuses on addressing social issues and offers art classes as well as other events in order to inspire and build community.
The River Arts District in Asheville, North Carolina, is an area of former industrial buildings located near the French Broad River, along Riverside Drive east of Interstate 240. Numerous artists have moved into the area and produce and display their works.
The design of the park is reminiscent of a 1900s city park, complete with an activity center, interpretive structure, amphitheater, picnic area, and demonstration groves of citrus tree orchards. The land contained within the park still continues to produce high-quality fruits. Free samples of the unique citrus fruits are available for visitors. [1]
