La Capital is a local daily newspaper published in Mar del Plata, Argentina, established in 1905. [ 1 ] The newspaper was founded by Italian immigrant Victorio Tetamanti in 1905, its first edition being published on 25 May, on the 95th anniversary of the May Revolution .

It sits on a narrow street, Rua dos Perdões below the Largo do Santo Antonio, a public square, and both the Church of Santo Antonio Além do Carmo and Forte de Santo Antônio Além do Carmo.

The primitive nucleus of the city of Curitiba was called Nossa Senhora da Luz e Bom Jesus dos Pinhais. The region where this nucleus was located was called Campos Gerais or Campos de Curitiba. When a village was established in the area, it became known as Nossa Senhora da Luz e Bom Jesus de Curitiba, that is, Pinhais was replaced by Curitiba. [2]
