North Middlesex Regional School District is an operating school district, located in the north/central section of Massachusetts on the New Hampshire/Massachusetts border, and serving the towns of Ashby, Pepperell and Townsend. [1]
The school was built in 1957–1959 and an addition was added in 1972. The citizens of the neighboring town of Mason, New Hampshire expressed an interest in possibly joining the North Middlesex District in 2006. However, the choice was voted down by New Ipswich and other members of Mason's current school district.
In Bergen County, 236 candidates are running for 161 seats in 61 school districts. In Morris County, 173 candidates are seeking 108 seats.
