Fosse Shopping Park is one of Britain's biggest out-of-town shopping parks and it is situated in Enderby parish, in Blaby district, on the southern edge of the city of Leicester, England. [ 1 ] The retail park is in an area of mixed industrial and commercial development, about half a mile from Junction 21 of the M1 , where it meets the M69 .
It was also an electoral ward of the City of Leicester whose population at the 2011 Census was 17,128. [1] It is in the west of the city. South of New Parks is the Western Park ward, north is the Beaumont Leys ward and to the east is the Fosse ward. [2] There are many shops neighbouring the homes and leisure centres.
Narborough is served by Arriva Midlands services 50 and X84 both linking the village with Rugby, Enderby, Croft, Fosse Shopping Park, and Leicester city centre. There is also a park and ride service which stops opposite Enderby Police station which runs electric buses into Leicester City Centre.
Enderby Park and Ride is situated on the corner of B4114 St John's and Leicester Lane, opposite Leicestershire Constabulary Headquarters and Palmers Garden Centre, and was opened on 16 November 2009. It has parking for 1,000 cars. Buses run every 15 minutes into Leicester city centre from 7am to 7pm, Mondays to Saturdays.
