Their concealed class is $95. Even though it may be more, I feel that they conduct themselves more professionaly than most all LGS in the area, have a more experienced staff, and that I will actually learn more from the course. Plus I can do the written and range test in the same day, back to back. For that alone, I don't mind paying a little extra

Hello from Florida. Check out the Florida rules / requirements. When you are in the state and have a certificate indicating proper training, call one of the regional offices and make an appointment (usually about 10 days to two weeks out), bring your checkbook to the appointment (no cash) and be prepared to write a check for $117, which covers all costs -- license fee, finger prints, and photo.

  5. disassembly of the recoil spring assembly - Springfield XD Forum

The disassembly guide at hs2000 does not appear to have anything for the guide rod assembly. And I am not sure Don has a replacement rod out (yet) for the 45 service model. I was kinda hoping for something a bit easier to keep clean and properly lubed without a bunch of oil leaking all over like what the stock assembly seems to favor.

Next for the .40 being i have the sub, get you a Galloway Precision stainless steel guide rod assembly with the 20lb recoil spring. Will reduce the snap of the .40 during recoil and naturally will cause the gun to run flatter and recoil more so to the rear of the gun without tracking up getting you on target faster for follow up shots.

    www.xdtalk.com/threads/lasermax-problem.177619

I don't have a LaserMax guide rod Laser sight, but the installation instructions for the LMS-XDMS indicate: When installing the guide rod in the upside down slide, sitting on the table, you need the engraved text on the guide rod facing up, away from the barrel. Likewise, the flat on the battery cap, should be facing up.
