Ernestine Nyrop (1888–1975) was a Danish textile artist and fresco painter who is remembered for decorating churches in Denmark and Sweden. In 1930, she published a series of traditional Danish sewing and weaving patterns in Danske Mønstre til Syning og Vævning I-II.
Karen-Margrethe (Kim) Naver (born 1940) is a Danish designer and textile artist, specializing in weaving and tapestry.Inspired by both coarse Polish techniques and patterns and materials from the Orient, she has been successful in creating textiles for industrial furniture manufacturers (Cotil, Paustian), as well as for domestic use (Royal Copenhagen).
Specializing in weaving, la Cour started a private weaving course in her home at Askov, pioneering the revival of home weaving in Denmark.
