Unfinished Affairs (Spanish: La maniobra de la tortuga) [1] is a 2022 Spanish-Argentine neo-noir police thriller film directed by Juan Miguel del Castillo which stars Fred Adenis and Natalia de Molina. It is an adaptation of the novel La maniobra de la tortuga by Benito Olmo.
The film would have marked the debut of del Río in the Mexican cinema. Welles made a correction of the script in 13 extraordinary sequences. The high salary demanded by del Río stopped the project. In 1943, the film was finally completed with the settings of Welles, led by Norman Foster and starring Mexican actress Esther Fernández. [13]
