The New York University Tisch School of the Arts (commonly referred to as Tisch) is the performing, cinematic, and media arts school of New York University. Founded on August 17, 1965, as the School of the Arts at New York University, Tisch is a training ground for artists, scholars of the arts, and filmmakers.
The school provides interdisciplinary theater training to students in the Undergraduate Drama Program of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Lectures in professional theater as well as practical seminars with visiting artists are available. Students would graduate from the four-year program with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. [7]

The school has a secondary campus located in Los Angeles, California. For more than 40 years, the Institute has held a partnership with New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where students can earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
