  4. Paint chip repair - Harley Davidson Forums

    www.harley-davidsonforums.com/threads/paint-chip-repair.46132

All in all, I don't think it came out too bad. I can still see where the repair is, but it's not as fugly as a big chip in the paint. I am still considering sanding it all down and starting over, but honestly the only way I know of to make it look smoother and blend in better would be to airbrush it. :think

So I want to repair that crack before sending it to my painter. After researching on line for a while I am a bit confused about what these bags/tour paks are made of. I think the first thing I would do is to check that the speedo itself works. Remove the cable from the drive head at the wheel, screw the cable to the back of the speedo, chuck the wheel end of the cable into an electric drill, run the drill to see if the speedo spindle turns.

  10. Reasonable price for installing new tires? - Harley Davidson...

    www.harley-davidsonforums.com/threads/reasonable-price-for-installing-new...

Not a single gun shop. No motorcycle dealers, and I thought no motorcycle shops until a buddy of mine told me about a shop that just opened 15 miles away. I'll take the tires there. I haven't bought tires from a local shop in over a decade. Why pay 100% more for the exact same tire as online? Free flat repair? I haven't gotten a flat tire in ...
