Naples is a town in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. It is part of the Portland – South Portland – Biddeford , Maine metropolitan statistical area . The population was 3,925 at the 2020 census , [ 3 ] and it is home to part of Sebago Lake State Park .
The town is crossed by U.S. Route 302 and state routes 11, 85 and 121. It is bordered by the town of Raymond to the southeast, Naples and Otisfield to the northwest, and Poland to the northeast. The village of Casco , a census-designated place, is located along Route 121 near the northern corner of town.
Naples is located at , at the south end of Long Lake and north end of Brandy According to the United States Census Bureau , the Naples CDP has a total area of 3.4 square miles (8.7 km 2 ), of which 2.6 square miles (6.7 km 2 ) is land and 0.77 square miles (2.0 km 2 ), or 22.72%, is water, consisting primarily of the north end of Brandy Pond.
