Or can I skip ahead? I've never played any Splinter Cell game before. I figure it is important to the plot to go in order and start at the beginning. Is it? You actually don't have to play them in order, each game is pretty much a separate story. The only major continuity is from Double Agent to Conviction.
The older games may throw you off, a lot, if you go back to them. The control scheme is completely different for Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory, and Double Agent than it is in Conviction, and Blacklist tweaks how Conviction controlled in ways that make it much more bearable. As it is, I can only stand the older games out of ...
I tried Splinter cell every generation, and I liked it very much.Just like 24 the TV play, there is no hard connections between each generation,so you can start from any of them. The graphic improved so fast.so if your PC is powerful enough, you can try blacklist first, and find out if it's your taste. If it is,you can review 5,4,and so on.the elder ones have worse graphics, but they were worth ...
The PC version is pretty rough around the edges. Starting off with the fact that the steam version does not include the latest patches.
No, you can skip all the first 3 games cause they weakly related to last 3 games. But Pandora Tomorrow is a great game, better then the first and overall not worse then Chaos Theory. Last edited by LagiNatoRRR ; Nov 6, 2016 @ 1:45pm
Splinter Cell's story fell apart after Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Splinter Cell: Blacklist is essentially a reboot. It completely ignores everything that has happened in the past and is its own story entirely. There are nods to the past games (like private calls you can make to your daughter) or Kobin, who was featured in Splinter Cell:
Since I updated to Windows 11 24H2, I cannot launch Splinter Cell and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (other Splinter Cell games work just fine). The event log viewer has this. Is anyone else having issues launching these two games on Windows 11 24H2? Hi there, I´m a big fan of classic stealth games, Thief 1-2, Deus Ex and Dishonored are among my favourites. I´ve also played a lot of Hitman games, Alien Isolation and many others. A couple of years ago I bought and played through the Splinter Cell Trilogy. Can´t remember this much, but 1 and 3 were awesome games. And 2 was really good, too. Especially the train level. Now I have bought ...

The 3rd splinter cell is the best one in the series of 6 splinter cells. Its got amazing stealth, gunplay, missions, and immersion out of all of them. Its sad that Pandora Tomorrow (2nd one) isnt on steam but the best ones are on steam. Order of best Splinter Cell Games: 1. Chaos Theory 2. Splinter Cell 1 3. Pandora Tomorrow 4. Double Agent 5 ...
