Deptford Township (pronounced DEP-ford [19]) is a township in Gloucester County in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 31,977, [9] [10] an increase of 1,416 (+4.6%) from the 2010 census count of 30,561, [20] [21] which in turn reflected an increase of 3,798 (+14.2%) from the 26,763 counted in the 2000 census.
