Miles Jaye Davis (born November 12, 1957), known professionally as Miles Jaye, is an American R&B and jazz singer, jazz violinist, songwriter, and record producer.He had several hits on the US R&B chart in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the biggest of which was "Let's Start Love Over" in 1987.
"After School" was written by Seo Ji-eum and Seo Jeong-ah, composed by Daniel Durn, David Quinones, Denzil Remedios, Katrine Neya Klith Joergensen, Jazelle Paris, and Ryan S. Jhun, also arranged by Denzil Remedios and Ryan S. Jhun. [1] Musically, the song was described as a "pop number mixed with reggae and trap beats" and an "impressive" song with "dynamic synthesizer and popping melody".
The title is based on Ernest Holmes' quotation "Things may come and things may go, but creation goes on forever" [4] and refers to Brown's enthusiasm for art schools in postwar Britain, which was a fertile ground for creativity and artistic influence in the 1960s. [5]
