Prayagraj (/ ˈ p r eɪ ə ˌ ɡ r ɑː dʒ, ˈ p r aɪ ə-/; ISO: Prayāgarāja), formerly Allahabad, is a metropolis in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
