The 2023–24 Union Garnet Chargers men's ice hockey season was the 83rd season of play for the program, the 32nd at the Division I level and the 32nd in the ECAC Hockey conference. The Garnet Chargers represented Union College , played their home games at Achilles Center and were coached by Josh Hauge in his 2nd season.
The team plays a 60-game schedule from September to March. The team began in the 2003–04 season as the Minnesota Blizzard based in Alexandria, Minnesota . [ 2 ] In 2006, the team was re-branded as the Alexandria Blizzard and played at the Runestone Community Center .
In 1929, the State High School Athletic Association adopted a new name, the Minnesota State High School League, as well as a new vision. The League started accepting non-public schools' applications for admitance in 1974. [5] In 1960, the MSHSL was sanctioned as a non-profit by a Minnesota State Statute. [5]
