Perry Johanson (9 May 1910 in Greeley, Colorado – 15 June 1981 in Seattle) was a Seattle architect and one of the founders of the architectural firm NBBJ. Johanson enrolled in the architecture program at the University of Washington in 1929 and graduated in 1934 with a B.Arch. While in school he was particularly influenced by Lionel Pries.
He began his career in Chicago under the mentorship of architect Helmut Jahn and later co-founded the sports and entertainment practice of NBBJ. Meis currently operates his own independent studio, MEIS Architects, established in 2007, [ 3 ] with offices in New York City and Los Angeles, California.

The Celtics also have various alternative logos, with the most popular being a white shamrock with the letters "Celtics" above it, wrapped in a green circle, which has been used since the 1998–99 season.
