Hall joined the Gaither Vocal Band as the new baritone in early 2004 [4] after an invitation from Bill Gaither that led to a one and a half month audition. David Norris Phelps (born October 21, 1969) is an American Christian music vocalist, songwriter, vocal arranger, and producer who is best known for singing tenor in the Gaither Vocal Band. [1] He has also released several solo albums, including four Christmas collections.

Russ Taff was born to Joe and Ann Taff on November 11, 1953, the fourth of five sons, and grew up in Farmersville, California. Taff's father was a pastor of a small Pentecostal church - the Eastside Tabernacle Church which was located in an old laundromat - and machinist while his mother, Ann, was a field worker who picked fruit and chopped cotton.
He was with them for three years (1990–93), until he was offered a position with the Gaither Vocal Band. He remained with them for three years (1994–97). [3] Pierce released several albums on Curb Records.
