Tōshirō Hitsugaya (Japanese: 日番谷 冬獅郎, Hepburn: Hitsugaya Tōshirō) is a fictional character in the manga and anime series Bleach, created by Tite Kubo. In the series, Hitsugaya is a captain of the 10th division or squad of the Gotei 13, a group of Soul Reapers who govern the flow of souls and protect Soul Society, an afterlife realm.
