Glee is a musical comedy-drama television series that aired on Fox in the United States for six seasons from 2009 to 2015. It focuses on the high school glee club New Directions competing in the show choir competition circuit, while its members deal with relationships, sexuality and social issues.
With his departure, New Directions must find a new twelfth member to remain eligible for the competition. Club director Will Schuester ( Matthew Morrison ) decides to feature overlooked performers from the group for Sectionals, to the consternation of the usual lead singers, Rachel Berry ( Lea Michele ) and Finn Hudson ( Cory Monteith ).
The deadline for a fall application is Sept. 30. The grant winners will be announced on Nov. 1.
