Welcome to the Village of Virginia Gardens. We are small municipality nestled between Miami Springs and Miami International Airport. This unique location gives our Village of approximately 2300 residents, a small town experience, with access to all the luxuries of a large metropolitan city.
Presently, with the approval of the Mayor and the City Council I represent the Village of Virginia Gardens at The County, State and National levels of the Florida League of Cities. I also am an active member of the Dade Miami Boards which treat Criminal and Juvenile Problems in our County.

The Virginia Gardens Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of all of roads, sidewalks, swales, stormwater facilities and public areas within our Village. Our department also oversees any beautification projects and we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for Virginia Gardens residents.

The Village of Virginia Gardens Water Department works diligently to provide our community with the best quality drinking water available. Our water is purchased from Miami-Dade County and distributed through our own system to our residents.
By Charter, The Village of Virginia Gardens hosts municipal elections every two years to elect the Mayor and Village Council. Each election year, Virginia Gardens voters elect to fill the one (1) Mayoral seat and three (3) Village Council seats.

He is also the youngest elected Mayor in Virginia Gardens and was one of the youngest elected in Miami-Dade County. Spencer Deno IV, a native son, and the 2nd Mayor to be born and raised in the Village.
