Macomb County is home to more than 130 parks covering 12,000 acres (49 km 2) managed by the state, regional, county, and local government. There are four major public parks in the County - Freedom Hill County Park , Macomb Orchard Trail , Lake St. Clair Metropark , and Stony Creek Metropark .
The main attractions at Lake St. Clair Metropark are the 1,000 foot-long Metro Beach, which still retains the old name, on Lake St. Clair, the marinas and boat launches, an Olympic-sized pool with two water slides and inflatable obstacle course, the "Squirt Zone" where kids can play with equipment that shoots water, an 18-hole Par 3 golf course and miniature golf course, the fitness trails ...

LANSING — A lawsuit from a man who crashed his golf cart while descending a steep hill at the popular Treetops resort has failed to make the cut before the Michigan Court of Appeals.
Mount Clemens is in south-central Macomb County, 20 miles (32 km) northeast of downtown Detroit, 37 miles (60 km) southwest of Port Huron, and 3 miles (5 km) west of Lake St. Clair. The Clinton River runs through the city. The city is almost completely surrounded by Clinton Township, except for the far east side which borders Harrison Township.
The park covers 2,625 acres (1,062 hectares) and features a variety of activities. Wolcott Mill has 10 miles (16 km) of equestrian trails. A former 18-hole golf course closed and is now walking trails. Wolcott Mill also has "Camp Rotary", a camping area for organized youth groups.
