Brookfield is a city in eastern Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States. It had a population of 41,464 at the 2020 census . [ 5 ] The city is adjacent to the Town of Brookfield and is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area .
After continued annexation by the City of Waukesha and the City of Brookfield, by 2005 the Town of Brookfield had decreased in size to 5.5 square miles. The 13th Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. [1] Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of western Milwaukee County and eastern Waukesha County. It contains most of the city of Wauwatosa, along with the village of Elm Grove and much of northern Brookfield.
