After a highly successful coaching career in Texas high school football, Keeling was chosen to revive the Hardin–Simmons Cowboys football program, which hadn't played a football game since 1963. Keeling became the winningest coach in Hardin–Simmons football history in 1997, surpassing Warren B. Woodson.
Jesse Burleson (born c. 1976 or 1977) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Hardin–Simmons University, a position he has held since 2011. [1] [2] He also coached for Clyde High School, South Grand Prairie High School, Temple High School, and Permian High School. [3]

Franklin H. Moreau was born on September 9, 1976 in Pineville, Louisiana. [2] He played high school football at Central Hardin High School in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. [1] He rushed for 1,514 yards and 11 touchdowns his senior year, including a (since broken) single-game school record of 291 yards.
The school did not field a football team from 1964 to 1989. The football program returned in 1990, but the school now competes at the NCAA Division III level. Jimmie Keeling was the head coach for 21 years from 1990 to 2010, winning 11 American Southwest Conference championships and compiling a record of 172–53 (.764).
