Dunstable Town Football Club is a football club based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, England. Affiliated with the Bedfordshire County Football Association , they are currently members of the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division and play at Creasey Park.
The Bedfordshire Football Association was founded in 1894 when an invitation was sent from Mr. G.H. Barford of the Luton Town club to all clubs in the county to attend a meeting at the Cowper Arms Coffee Tavern in Luton.
In 2004 the club changed their name to AFC Dunstable, [3] although reference to the former name was retained in the club's nickname of the OD's. [1] After winning Division Two again in 2006–07, a season in which they also won the Division Two Cup and the Bedfordshire Senior Trophy the club were again refused promotion.
Starting from the 2018–19 season, the four-year deal saw Quest provide 90 minutes of extensive match highlights of the English Championship, League One and League Two, hosted by Colin Murray, in primetime at 9pm every Saturday night. In May 2015 Channel 5 won the rights to broadcast highlights for the Football League and the Football League Cup from the 2015–16 in a three-year deal. The contract succeeded the BBC 's six-year coverage of the league with The Football League Show and gave Channel 5 their first foray into English domestic league football.
