Yunjin (Chinese: 雲錦), Nanjing brocade or cloud brocade, [1] is a traditional Chinese luxury silk brocade made in Nanjing since the end of the Song dynasty, [2] and based on weft-weaving techniques from both the Song and Tang dynasties. [1] It is shuttle-woven, and often incorporates gold and silver threads with the coloured silks. [3]
The Nanjing Museum was one of the first museums established in China. The predecessor of the Nanjing Museum was the preparatory department of the National Central Museum, [4] which was established in 1933. [citation needed] The museum took over 12.9 hectares (32 acres) in the Half Hill Garden of Zhongshan Gate.

Nanjing Municipal Museum (simplified Chinese: 南京市博物馆; traditional Chinese: 南京市博物館; pinyin: Nánjīng shì Bówùguǎn), the city museum of Nanjing, is a comprehensive museum of history and art, located inside Chaotian Palace. The museum was formally established in 1978 and is a key historical and cultural site.
Known as Chating station (茶亭站; Chátíng Zhàn) during planning stages, it was renamed Yunjinlu station in 2007 to promote the accession of yunjin (brocade), a product characteristic of Nanjing, to the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists. [3] The station is decorated with a Qingming theme. [4]
Nanjing Museum is located in Chaotian Palace, covering an area of more than 50,000 square meters, exhibition hall area of more than 8000 square meters, collecting more than 100,000 cultural relics. These collections date back to the Republican period. It is rich in connotation and of high historical, artistic and scientific value.
