Bc after downloading avidlink on my laptop, and seeing Protools and Protools first listed, I could not download them. Now, I understand "first" is gone. I was trying to download Intro, bc I am on a different PC. But, it was soooo frustrating not to just be able to download and go (meaning use the software). I have to register some feedback.
Downloaded and installed Pro Tools Intro after registering and installing Avid Link/iLok yesterday. This worked perfectly and i could get a quick first look at the program. Unfortunately I decided to reset (clean install) the same Windows 11 device to start from scratch w/ a little more space for Pro Tools Intro today.
I tried to update Pro tools and Avid Link via the Avid link launcher to which it failed. I tried to uninstall PT, but uninstall failed, first uninstalled Avid link, then all plugins, then i could uninstall Protools.

So I have been intermittently been working for 3-4 months to get my Pro Tools 10 working, and I am very close. Program now opens, is installed in the right place in the computer, got an M-Audio C600 box that talks to the program effortlessly, got a great microphone, and have been able to record. Trouble is, I can't get a click track.

I had been running pro tools 8 LE on my 2007 macbook, with a 3rd gen mbox mini. I have just bought a new 21.5 inch iMac, but it doesn't have a cd driver so I can't re-install Pro tools. I have installed the driver and the mbox works, now I just need to install the programme. Is there somewhere I can download it from online?
