Jacaranda Boulevard begins at an intersection with SR 776 (Englewood Road) in South Venice. Less than a mile later, it intersects with US 41 (Tamiami Trail). It continues north on a winding route crossing Alligator Creek into Venice Gardens. North of Alligator Creek, it passes residential communities and the Jacaranda West Country Club.
